Chromakey RGB

Overview

Mixes a foreground and background image, replacing the foreground image with the background image in areas where the foreground's colours either match a chosen colour or do not match the colour.

Layers

Choose the foreground and background layers.

Colour

Choose the colour you wish to include or exclude from the foreground colour. The "fast" option provides a slightly less accurate method of matching colours but one which redraws much faster.

Click the eyedropper tool to "pick up" a colour from the preview to use as the keying colour.

Tolerance

It is unlikely that you will want to isolate just a single colour, so the tolerance value lets you select a wider range of similar colours. The larger the tolerance value, the greater the number of colours that are isolated.

Feather

Determines how the isolated range of colours blend into the background. A larger value here provides a softer "feathered" edge between the colour and the background.
